This is a mountain farm with spacious, climate-controlled kennels, open fields to run in, a pond to swim in, and someone who has been taking care of dogs for over a decade. Not a concrete box with fluorescent lights.
Every detail here exists for one reason: your dog should be as safe and comfortable as they are at home. Here is what that looks like in practice.
We use Mason Kennels because they build the best kennel systems in the industry. Each dog gets their own individual run with room to stand, turn, stretch, and lie down. Secure latches, smooth surfaces, elevated sleeping areas, and easy-clean construction that stays sanitary between every guest.
Western North Carolina gets hot summers and cold winters. Your dog should not have to deal with either. We use Mitsubishi Mini Split climate control units throughout the facility. These are the same ductless systems used in modern homes: quiet, efficient, and consistent. Not window units.
Dogs go out up to three times a day on our mountain farm property. These are not laps around a small concrete yard. Your dog walks on grass, smells real smells, and stretches their legs on open land. Regular exercise keeps dogs physically healthy, mentally sharp, and calm during their stay.
Most boarding facilities do not have this. Our property includes a pond where dogs can swim, splash, and retrieve under supervision. For water-loving breeds, this is the highlight of their stay. We evaluate each dog before pond access and start with shallow introductions for dogs new to water. No dog is ever forced.
Every boarding guest follows a structured daily routine. Structure keeps dogs calm, comfortable, and well-rested.
First walk on the farm property. Bathroom break, fresh air, and morning exercise. Dogs return to their kennels for breakfast on their regular feeding schedule.
Second outdoor session. Add-on services happen here: pond sessions, extended field time, one-on-one play, or training sessions. Followed by a rest period in the climate-controlled kennels.
Final walk and bathroom break. Dinner on schedule. Dogs settle into their clean, comfortable kennels for the night. Fresh water, clean bedding, quiet facility.
Every stay includes clean bedding, fresh water, scheduled feedings, and daily outdoor exercise. What changes is how much adventure your dog gets.
Holiday deposit: $10/dog/day during peak periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break, July 4th). | House food: $5/day if you do not bring your own. | Late pickup: $40 after 5 PM.

North Carolina state law requires the following for all dogs staying at a licensed boarding facility. Bring shot records at drop-off or have your vet email them before your dog’s stay.

North Carolina requires Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo), and Bordetella (kennel cough). All dogs must also be on current flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Bring shot records or have your vet email them before your dog’s first stay.
Yes. Switching food during a stay can cause stomach upset. Bring enough for the full stay, pre-portioned if possible, with feeding instructions. If you forget or run out, we provide quality house food for $5 per day.

Dogs are exercised individually unless you request otherwise and we approve it based on temperament. This keeps every dog safe and prevents conflicts between unfamiliar dogs. Dogs from the same household can be exercised together.
We contact you immediately. If necessary, we transport your dog to a trusted local veterinarian. We perform daily wellness checks on every boarding guest so we catch anything early.
Yes. Medication administration is included at no extra charge. Bring all medications with written instructions and we handle the rest. Every dose is tracked and logged.
All pond sessions are supervised. We evaluate each dog before allowing access and start with shallow introductions for dogs new to water. Dogs that are not comfortable are never forced. The pond has gentle entry points and staff is present the entire time.
We require a $10 per dog per day deposit for holiday and peak travel periods, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break, and July 4th. This deposit applies toward your total stay cost. Book 4 to 6 weeks in advance for holidays.
For regular weekends, 1 to 2 weeks is usually enough. For holidays and peak travel, book 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Holiday spots fill quickly.
